Delivered under the Erasmus+ programme, the Green Tech for a Better Tomorrow project sets out to raise young people's awareness of today's environmental challenges and to promote the use of environmentally friendly technologies. It draws on non-formal education methods and encourages young people's engagement through hands-on workshops, visits, debates and intercultural activities.
The main aim is to bring up a generation of young people who understand what is at stake, who can put forward sustainable solutions and act concretely within their own communities. The project also fosters European cooperation between young people from different countries.
Participants came from several European countries — Germany, Romania, Bulgaria and Morocco — and were able to work together, share their ideas and build intercultural connections.
Activities
Visits to innovative sites such as the Energieberg and the HafenCity, workshops on green technologies, conferences, awareness-raising work in schools, and a cultural day intended to deepen the exchanges.
Expected outcomes
- a better grasp of environmental challenges;
- the development of skills linked to sustainable technologies;
- the take-up of environmentally responsible habits;
- the creation of networks of committed young people.
Each participant received a Youthpass certifying their involvement and the skills they gained.
